Getting started is easy. Start by downloading the Grubhub for Drivers app from the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android.

  • Create your profile in the Driver app in just minutes. Once this is complete and you pass the required background check, most delivery partners are on the road in just days depending on the market.  
  • Is your delivery market full at this time? Join the waitlist to receive an update when it opens to new delivery partners, or select a nearby open market to start earning sooner.

Create your unique schedule

Unlike other part-time or full-time jobs, a Grubhub delivery job gives you the flexibility to work when you want.

  • Use Scheduling in the Driver app to reserve blocks of time for when you want to deliver. Grubhub avoids having too many drivers on the road at once to help delivery partners maximize their earnings.
  • Working on a block secures you dedicated delivery time to support your delivery volume, boosting your earnings and your driver level.

Get paid

Our pay model is simple and transparent, and you have the option to get paid the same day if you need to earn cash fast.

  • Your total pay includes base pay (accounting for mileage, delivery type, and time spent delivering), tips from completed deliveries, and bonuses earned from completing missions.
  • Delivery partners always keep 100% of tips from completed deliveries.
  • Get paid by direct deposit or use Instant Cash Out in the Driver app to send available earnings directly into your bank account fast. Earnings are available 15 minutes after a delivery is completed.

Boost your driver level

Our driver levels help you drive your way to higher earnings and better rewards.

  • After completing 20 deliveries, you’ll be awarded a level based on your delivery stats.
